I hope everyone had a happy Valentine’s day yesterday.
Today, I’m featuring my contribution to the Month of Love challenge for the week of “blue”.

Blue for “Spinerette, spider bride overcome with heartbreak”; a character whom crawled around in my head since high school, though originally she was a dust mite. Her perception of love is a bit distorted since her last lover decided to choose someone with a little less legs behind her back.

As of recently, I am currently working on this week’s challenge for “red”.
I had a few setbacks but with a few days remaining in the week, it’s crunch time.

Happy month of love, everyone!
I can’t say that I come into February in anticipation of Valentine’s Day. If anything, it’s more for the end of the winter season and the longer daylight hours. However, I’m excited to finally partake in this year’s Month of Love art challenge which will be a series based on colors. Here was my interpretation for “Black” and a sneak peek of what’s coming for “Blue”. If you’re not familiar with the Month of Love challenge, click here to learn more about it.

I am happy to say that I am starting this year with a lot more freed up time to work on my projects as opposed to the previous years. Last time in which I posted, I was in the midst of working on a merchandise store. If you click on my “STORE” link on my homepage, you should be linked to my Storenvy where I plan on opening shop. In the meantime, the page is still currently under maintenance as I prepare my first themed lineup of products for its launch. However, the store should be up and running within this year so please look forward to it! In the meantime, please check out my Society6 and Redbubble where I have some stickers, pouches, bed-sheets, and a dress available for purchase. If you’re a big fan of sheet ghosts and want to casually become one, my dress might be your cup of tea.
